Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing. BSN required

Required Experience:

• At least 3 years of RN OR experience
• Travel experience required
• Candidate must complete ~70 Net Learning modules and pass ECG/Medication exam with a score of 80 or higher within one-week of acceptance to work the assignment at SWGH

Required

Certifications:

• Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS

Position Responsibilities/Expectations:

• Conducts a comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessment of the patient according to established standard including the assessment of safety and educational needs.
• Directs the establishment of a collaborative plan of care based on the assessment data with all other involved disciplines and communicates this plan of care as appropriate.
• Implements and evaluates the plan of care based on identified patient goals and intended outcomes. Modifies the plan of care based on reassessment of the patients status.
• Completes all documentation according to established standard and utilizes the established documentation tools appropriately.
• Assesses the readiness of the patient and significant other to learn and implements the individualized education plan according to the need.
• Actively leads in the Department of Nursing or unit-based initiatives including such activities as provision of in-service opportunities or volunteering to serve as project point for committees and task forces.
• Provides age appropriate care for the specific population served as detailed by the organization.
• Performs all functions according to established policies procedures regulatory and accreditation requirements as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Southwest General Health Center with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our Standards of Performance each and every day

NURSE's Etc. Staffing Job . Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
