About This Role
The RN Ambulatory Triage position at Cleveland Clinic involves providing professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, assessing health status, and delivering exceptional patient care. Highlights- Pay: $34 - $53/hour
- Location: Middleburg Heights, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic
- Schedule: Full-time, Variable shift
- Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
- Assess health status and complete nursing assessments.
- Perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
- Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
- Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures and therapeutic procedures.
- Develop, evaluate, adapt, and document health education for patients and families.
- Cover other nursing roles within the department.
- Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- One year of recent experience as an RN
- Will consider LPN, Medical Assistant, or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience in substitution of RN experience for current Cleveland Clinic caregivers
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
