RN Staff Development/Infection Preventionist

Complete Care at Middlebury is looking to hire an RN Staff Development/Infection Preventionist to join their wonderful team.

• Full Time
• Day Shift
• On Call Support Weekend Rotation
• RN Registered Nurse license required
• Long Term Care experience required

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents' attending physicians, the Director of Nursing Services, and the Medical Director of the facility.
• Monitor the performance of non-licensed personnel.
• Assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychological needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of the policies and procedures of this facility as well as current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility.

• Previous long‑term care experience desirable.
• Computer knowledge preferred.
• Must be a registered nurse with active license in the state of Connecticut.
• Knowledge of elderly, ill, and/or disabled populations.
