- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment to unload and transport products throughout the facility.
- Organize and stage incoming products by family and customers.
- Verify received quantities against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
- Process receiving transactions within the AS400 system and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Select representative samples from incoming orders for inspection in accordance with company procedures and inspection plans.
- Perform quality inspection using calipers, micrometers, plug gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other appropriate inspection tools.
- Verify product dimensions, thread characteristics, part markings, and other engineering requirements.
- Review certifications and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications, including:
- Material certifications
- Heat treatment certifications
- Plating and coating certifications
- Special process certifications
- Supplier quality documentation
- Record inspection results and maintain inspection records in company systems and databases.
- Generate inspection reports, receiving documentation, shipping records, and other forms as required.
- Communicate quality concerns, discrepancies, and non-conformances to Engineering, and Quality personnel.
- Repackage inspected products and maintain product identification and traceability throughout the inspection process.
- Prepare customer shipments by packaging, labeling, and verifying parts for shipment.
- Build and secure pallets or skids for outbound shipments.
- Coordinate shipments with carriers and ensure shipping documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, quality inspection, warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment.
- Experience working with mechanical components, or bearings preferred.
- Experience using ERP systems such as AS400 preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and inspection requirements.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
- Ability to review certifications and verify compliance to engineering and customer requirements.
- Proficient computer skills including data entry and use of ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
