Otter Creek Child Center is a welcoming community for families with children ages 5 years old and younger, who is expending with a brand new space! We provide a safe, nurturing environment where families feel comfortable leaving their little ones to explore, wonder, learn, and grow.

Our dedicated staff is composed of highly trained teachers who create age-appropriate learning environments and develop stimulating curricula based on children's interests. We make meaningful connections to the world around us through exploration of the natural world and our local community. We believe in making quality early childhood education accessible, which is why our affordable tuition is made possible through partnerships with state agencies.

* Position Available:
Teachers
* We are seeking teachers who:

* Views teaching as a profession and values diversity.

* Possesses exceptional communication skills and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.

* Is committed to family-centered practices.

* Desires to collaborate as part of a reflective teaching team, using observation and documentation to inform child assessment and program planning in a continuous cycle of inquiry.

* Requirements
* * HS Diploma, CDA, CCV Child Care Cert, Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

* ECE Teaching License is a plus.

* Additional Qualifications
* * Working knowledge of Vermont Early Learning Standards, NAEYC standards, and Vermont regulations pertaining to early childhood education.

* Flexibility and a collaborative spirit, with a willingness to share and consider ideas.

* Skill in building positive relationships with children, staff, parents, and the community.

* Proficiency in applying current ideas, principles, and methods in early childhood education and child development.
