Visiting Assistant Professor of Global Health

The Global Health Program invites applicants for a full-time temporary (2-year) appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor of Global Health to begin fall 2026. Applicants must have a terminal degree (e.g., PhD, DrPH) by the position start date and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate should be able to teach the following core courses: GHLT 257:
Global Health and GHLT 232:
Principles of Epidemiology. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to design and teach a Global Health elective that complements the existing course offerings.

How to Apply
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, salaried position with a hiring range of $92,577 - $96,350 per year. Middlebury uses Interfolio to collect all faculty job applications electronically. Application materials: a letter of application addressed to the Associate Professor of Global Health, a curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy, and three current letters of recommendation (at least two addressing teaching ability/promise).
