Visiting Assistant Professor of Premodern Art History, Middlebury College
The Department of History of Art and Architecture, Middlebury College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Premodern Art History to teach for two academic years beginning in the fall semester of 2027.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. or ABD in Art or Architectural History and have college-level teaching experience. They will participate in the instruction of our introductory course and offer lectures and seminars in their areas of expertise. Applicants with specialties in premodern architectural history, Asia, and/or the Global South are encouraged to apply.
QualificationsPh.D. or ABD in Art or Architectural History. College level teaching experience.
BenefitsFull time, benefits eligible, salaried position with a hiring range of $92,577 - $96,355 per year.
