Nestled in the quintessentially beautiful Vermont town of Middlebury, Helen Porter has accommodations for 105 people, is licensed by the state of Vermont and certified by Medicare and Medicaid. Helen Porter is a skilled and intermediate care residence which specializes in providing a home-like environment including:
- Memory Care Neighborhood (Lemon Fair Lane and Waits River Way)
- Long Term Care Neighborhood (Otter Creek Place)
- Post Acute/Rehabilitation Neighborhood(Short Term Care)
- Respite Care Services
- ARCH Hospice End-of-Life Care
Education
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Completion of state approved Nurse Assistant training and competency evaluation
Experience
LNA with good work history in similar facilities preferred, or enrollment in LNA program
Able to read, write, and speak English language
Able to communicate and work effectively with others.
LNA Sign-on Bonus
A $5,000 - $7500 LNA sign-on bonus (subject to applicable taxes) is available for this position! Paid out at 90 days, 1 year, and 2 years. xrlwcon Please note that current UVM Health employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus.
