Site Administrator – Skilled Nursing | Middlebury, VT
Contract: 13 Weeks | October 12, 2026 – January 10, 2027
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Skilled Nursing Center Site Administrator to provide leadership and operational oversight for a skilled nursing facility in Middlebury, Vermont.
The Site Administrator will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality, resident-centered environment while ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. This role will also contribute to the continued development and improvement of post-acute and long-term care services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the skilled nursing center.
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare, state, and federal regulations.
- Promote high-quality, compassionate, resident-centered care.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across clinical and operational services.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and leadership.
- Support employee engagement, labor relations, and staff development.
- Oversee operational planning, cost management, productivity, and performance.
- Monitor trends and requirements within long-term and post-acute care.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve clinical, business, and organizational goals.
- Vermont and/or New York Nursing Home Administrator License
. - Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of management experience with increasing responsibility.
- Management experience in skilled nursing, residential care, or assisted living.
- Proven leadership experience in post-acute and/or long-term care.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, payer requirements, case management, cost management, productivity, and employee/labor relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment.
