Systems Administrator

If so, National Bank of Middlebury might be the right fit for you! We’re looking for a Systems Administrator to manage and secure our servers, network, Microsoft 365, and virtual environments. This role supports daily operations, cybersecurity initiatives, disaster recovery planning, and technology upgrades while ensuring system stability and compliance.

• Administer servers, networks, virtual environments, and Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams)
• Maintain strong cybersecurity controls, firewall monitoring, certificates, and security policies
• Monitor system performance and minimize network downtime
• Manage disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation
• Assist with network upgrades, audits, and vendor coordination
• Provide internal IT support and escalated troubleshooting as needed

• 2+ years of systems or network administration experience
• Nutanix or virtual environment experience
• Security or project management experience
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and handle on-call responsibilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or similar certification

• On-call rotation, including some evenings/weekends
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Starting salary range: $82,000 - $90,000, depending on experience
