Parts Clerk – Inventory Management

Spherion VT is seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Parts Clerk to assist our client with parts inventory management. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and ordering parts, tracking shipments, and ensuring the inventory management system is accurately updated. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills who thrives in a manufacturing environment.

• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

• Identify, source, and place orders for required parts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and physically put away parts in their designated locations.
• Input purchase orders into the system and meticulously check in parts as received to maintain accurate digital records.

• Prior Parts Ordering
  
  Experience:
  
  Experience handling parts procurement or working in a parts department.
• General Procurement Knowledge:
  Strong foundational understanding of general ordering processes, supply chains, or purchasing workflows.
• Inventory Software Familiarity:
  Experience using inventory tracking software or digital warehouse management systems (WMS).

1-4 years

• Data Entry Accuracy:
  Ability to accurately enter purchase orders and track inventory using digital management systems.
• Organizational
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong physical organization skills for sorting, verifying, and properly storing incoming parts and shipments.
• Communication & Reliability:
  Solid communication skills to collaborate with team members and a dependable track record in a fast‑paced work environment.
