Description
The Machine & Packaging Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating production and packaging equipment to produce finished beverage products that meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role supports daily production goals through equipment operation, inspection, packaging, documentation, and general line support.
Pay & Shifts1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
- $2.00/hour shift differential
3rd Shift (Weekend Manufacturing Shift): Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- $2.00/hour shift differential
- 4 weekdays off every week
Full-time, year-round manufacturing employment.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs a Machine & Packaging Operator in our manufacturing facility, you will:
- Set up, operate, and monitor beverage production and packaging equipment
- Load raw materials and packaging materials into machines
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet safety and company standards
- Inspect bottles, cans, labels, and packaging for defects
- Case pack finished products and assist with palletizing
- Maintain proper machine speeds to meet daily production goals
- Make minor machine adjustments to reduce downtime and waste
- Keep accurate production, safety, and quality records
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas following GMP standards
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workstation
- Communicate with supervisors and team members about production issues
- Assist with product changeovers between production runs
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production, or packaging
- Mechanical aptitude a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Team player with good communication skills
- Forklift experience is a plus (certification available)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lb regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Manufacturing and packaging floor environment
- Exposure to moving machinery and production noise
- Required PPE: safety shoes, hearing protection, and eye protection
- Food‑grade sanitation and safety standards maintained at all times
- Competitive hourly wage, $18-$21 per hour depending on experience
- $2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shifts
