Job Description
The Registered Nurse administers nursing care within the scope of hospital policy and established standards of care and in accordance with the needs and/or wants of each patient. He/she develops and initiates the nursing care plan utilizing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse collaborates/cooperates with nursing staff and other health care disciplines for promotion of health to obtain the optimal level of wellness for patients, family, and community.
QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
Experience: Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position. Professional appearance. Satisfactory references. BLS required. ACLS for specific departments.
Requirements- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
