Performs services requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgement, and skill for carrying out selected aspects of the designated nursing regiment under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current LPN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
• Experience in gerontological nursing and knowledge of supervision techniques preferred.
• Able to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Demonstrate competence as a nursing practitioner.

This is a bargaining union position. University of Vermont Health – Porter Medical Center is located in the heart of beautiful Middlebury, Vermont. We are comprised of a 25-bed acute care facility, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility which includes a memory care unit, short-term rehabilitation unit and a long-term care unit, and a network of primary care and specialty medical practices throughout Addison County and the town of Brandon.
