This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Weekend coverage required.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide care to a diverse patient population with medical surgical telemetry needs, including orthopedics, urology, ENT, GYN, general surgery, and progressive care patients. As a small, yet dynamic team, nurses will have the opportunity to engage with patients at various care levels while maintaining excellent clinical standards.

• Deliver patient-centered care to a variety of medical surgical telemetry patients.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient status.
• Manage IVs and administer medications according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hospitalist and support staff.
• Participate in rapid response and code situations as necessary.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in medical surgical telemetry.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is required prior to start.
• Experience with EPIC documentation within the last 2 years is required.
• Experience in progressive care is preferred.
