Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Our nurses are a critical part of the UVM Health team and contribute to patient health. Porter Medical Center Emergency Department has a 10‑12 bed unit that is fast paced and unpredictable. You will be part of a multi‑disciplinary team delivering highly skilled and compassionate care.

During the first six months you’ll receive BLS/ACLS training. Within the first year you may also complete ENPC, TNCC, and PALS courses.

Not required.

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• Appropriate experience in the clinical area; varies by unit.
