Position Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Night Shift – Full Time, 36 hours per week, rotating weekends – 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM – Long‑term care assisted‑living unit in Middlebury, Vermont.
What You’ll Do- Provide skilled nursing care to long‑term care and assisted living residents
- Assess resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor resident health, safety, comfort, and overall well‑being
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with providers, therapists, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support residents and families with compassion, professionalism, and respect
- Serve as an advocate for resident‑centered care and quality outcomes
RN Candidates
- Current Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Long‑term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience preferred
LPN Candidates
- Current Vermont Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Long‑term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
All Candidates
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident‑focused care
- Current BLS certification preferred
