Registered Nurse - Birthing Center (Night Shift) Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleThe schedule primarily consists of night shifts, with 2-12 hour shifts and 2-8 hour shifts per week on average. Flexibility is required, as shifts may vary from week to week with a minimum of every other weekend.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Birthing Center team. The ideal candidate will have experience in labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care. This position requires the nurse to float between departments, including med-surg and ED units, to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Birthing Center.
- Assist with labor and delivery procedures.
- Offer postpartum care and support to new mothers and newborns.
- Float as needed between med-surg and ED units.
- Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of LDRP experience.
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications are required.
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Epic experience within the last 2 years is required and non-negotiable.
- Reliable transportation is a must, as public transportation is not accessible.
