Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Schedule:

12-hour Night shifts available. Flexibility is required for holiday scheduling.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in emergency medicine and possess the essential certifications required for high-quality patient care. This position requires an RN who is comfortable handling a diverse patient population from newborns to geriatrics.

• Conduct patient assessments and triage utilizing ESI triage scale.
• Administer medications and IV therapies according to established protocols.
• Perform EKGs and restraint application as needed.
• Facilitate procedural sedation and transports via ambulance.
• Collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers for comprehensive patient care.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the Emergency Department required.
• At least 1 completed travel contract.
• Active RN license and BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NRP, and NIHSS certifications are required prior to start.
• Epic experience within the last 2 years is mandatory.
