American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Long-Term Care/Post-Acute Unit position requiring a VT or compact license and Epic experience within the past two years.

• Skilled nursing rehabilitation unit within a post-acute care setting
• Patient population is 60+ years old with skilled nursing rehab diagnoses
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:14 with ancillary staff support
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Uses IV pumps and documents in Epic for both charting and medication administration
• Schedule varies with no guaranteed days off and a minimum of every other weekend required
• No block scheduling permitted
• Occasional floating required to Long-Term Care/Memory Care units

• Active VT RN license or compact license required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
• Epic experience within the past 2 years required
• Dementia capable care certification preferred
• Skilled in phlebotomy, EKGs, starting IVs, patient transports, and nebulizer-to-inhaler conversions

• Provide skilled nursing rehabilitation care to post-acute patients
• Must work at least 2 of the following 4 holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
• Must be available to work all holidays as needed
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended due to lack of public transportation in the area
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
• Local candidates are accepted
• Pay rate tiers apply based on distance from the facility: local (50 miles or less), radius (51-100 miles), and travel (101+ miles)
• Prior travel nursing experience is required for this position
