As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to demonstrate organizational and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. You may also handle other products from partner companies in the stores that you service.

- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $16.00 - $18.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.
- Part‑time employees receive voluntary benefits, including medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, and hospital indemnity.
- Part‑time employees with schedules less than 30 hours per week receive voluntary benefits such as dental, vision, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 8 and 11 hours per week.
- Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
- Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory using a mobile device provided by Hallmark. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
- Holiday support: additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may be required to work on the holiday itself and on weekends.
- Department resets: assist in installations, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Notification typically occurs two weeks in advance. Assignments may involve evenings or weekends.
- Team support: work collaboratively with other merchandisers to support team members as needed within their territories.
Work is physically demanding. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds must kneel, squat, walk, and stand frequently, and you may need to climb stairs or use step ladders.
Basic qualifications- Minimum age 18 years.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Proficient with a digital handheld device to open documents and interpret information.
- Reliable access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
