Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Security Officer is to provide a safe and secure environment for hospital staff, patients, and visitors on the Porter Hospital Campus. Security Officers enforce hospital policies, conduct routine and impromptu patrols of the campus, and respond to emergent or non‑emergent calls for service promptly. The Security Officer will also provide service to the Helen Porter Nursing Home located on site.
The Security Officer reports to the Security Manager or the Director of Support Services.
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience- Prior law enforcement or security experience strongly preferred.
- Prior experience performing security in a healthcare environment also strongly preferred.
