Traffic Control Flagger

ADA Traffic Control is an exciting family‑run company providing traffic control services to work zones in Vermont, New York, Maine, and New Hampshire. This role offers a variable schedule and locations that may vary by contractor need. Some weekend availability is expected, and both seasonal and year‑round positions are available.

Salary Range: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour.

• Communicate with contractors on the job site.
• Conduct daily traffic plans.
• Set up and tear down appropriate work‑zone equipment.
• Perform flagging operations.
• Maintain personal safety and ensure the safety of contractors, co‑workers, and the general public.
• Follow training and uphold safety protocols.
• Stay alert and vigilant to spot safety hazards.
• Work under pressure and react to potential danger in an urgent manner.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with contractors, co‑workers, and the general public.
• Submit required paperwork to proper channels.

• 18 years or older.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to travel to meet points.
• Ability to stay in overnight lodging for weeks at a time (company‑provided accommodations).
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours, walk for long distances, and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
