Essential Functions- Assist branch in meeting performance standards monthly and meet individual performance standards monthly.
- Interview members and process applications for all types of consumer loans, reviewing application and documentation for completeness and accuracy according to credit union compliance guidelines.
- Conduct all member account functions, including processing requests for new services, providing counseling, and cross‑selling appropriate credit union products or services to benefit the member and achieve established sales goals.
- Assist members with opening and closing accounts, answer questions about products and services, resolve problems within authority, and refer issues beyond authority to supervisor with recommendations.
- Accurately receive, inspect and verify cash and negotiable instruments for deposit, accept loan payments and other monetary transactions as directed and in accordance with established policies and procedures; balance transaction input at the end of each workday.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform additional job duties as assigned by the manager.
- A high school education or GED.
- One year to three years of similar or related experience.

- Accurately process account entries and transactions, write routine reports, and construct basic professional and grammatically correct correspondence.
- Speak effectively to members and employees, and read and interpret basic forms, documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Perform basic arithmetic operations in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Apply reasonable understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Deal with problems involving variables in situational contexts.
- Maintain a positive attitude with employees and members, remain flexible while focused on accepted practices, policy, productivity and effectiveness.
- Within established levels of authority, process members’ financial transactions, resolve problems, and answer questions regarding Y-12 Federal Credit Union products and services.
- Actively participate in branch/department and staff meetings to stay aware of organizational issues and promotional campaigns; remain current on changes in policies, procedures, compliance, and product development.
- Attend continuing education classes to enhance job knowledge and performance, provide exceptional service to internal and external members, take initiative for personal career development, and seek opportunities to learn new skills.

This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and may occasionally require lifting and/or moving items over 15 pounds.
