Part-Time Room Leader; Level 3

Little Phoenix Nursery opened its doors in September 2026 as a new specialist day nursery committed to providing exceptional care and early learning for babies and young children aged 6 months to 3 years. A member of the Yarm School family, the nursery sits within its own grounds close to Yarm High Street. We are continuing our expansion to increase our cohort of children to full capacity and therefore seek enthusiastic and experienced staff to support this journey.

A Room Leader at Little Phoenix Nursery has a higher level of skills & knowledge developed through training & leadership experience. A role model to Early Years Educators and Practitioners, this job requires a commitment to ensuring an exceptional level of early years practice is maintained at all times through modelling, coaching and mentoring. Working with the senior management team, the room leader will help fulfil the Little Phoenix Nursery vision.

This role is to be based in the Baby Room, overseeing childcare for the up to 18 month olds. Therefore confidence and experience working with the youngest age range is required, and related specialised training in line with EYFS.
