We are seeking a detail driven Accounts Payable Specialist to own the end-to-end AP process in a fast-paced environment with a strong job costing component. This role is best suited for someone who thrives on accuracy, organization, and keeping vendors and internal partners running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Process and code vendor invoices accurately and on time
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
  • Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger
  • Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and reasonable costs
  • Prepare payment runs and cash requirements reports
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation
  • Track job-related costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Support month-end close by ensuring expenses are recorded in the correct period and flagging accruals as needed
  • Maintain tracking reports and spreadsheets that support finance and operations
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 2+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience or experience in a construction-related environment
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Solid Excel skills
  • Comfort working with accounting or ERP systems (construction ERP experience a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
