Job SummaryLocal manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions.
Responsibilities- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Enter invoices, payments, and financial transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Maintain customer and vendor accounts
- Handle general ledger entries
- Assist with month-end bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare basic financial reports
Perform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as needed
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Sage accounting software experience required
- Strong knowledge of AP, AR, and general bookkeeping
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently
- Manufacturing or small-business experience is a plus
- Flexible schedule
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
