What you’ll be doing

Join us on this mission as an Inspector in the Inspection department at our Denham site where you’ll undertake a variety of processes for product verification of parts and components, ensuring that all Inspection activities are delivered efficiently in accordance with the production schedule

Aspects of the role include to:

• Operating and manually using Mitutoyo CMMs using GEOPAK software.
• Performing dimensional inspections using hand tools;
  Height Gauges, Bore Micrometres, DTI’s and intertest.
• Conducting laser scanning inspections.
• Utilising Hexagon Absolute Arm for portable CMM inspections.
• To carry out testing/inspection of components using a variety of processes and techniques in accordance with Quality Assurance Instructions and or technical specifications / documents
• Generate, maintain inspection documentation and create inspection reports.
• Record all non-conforming products.

Characteristics & Skills

• A minimum of 5 years of Inspection experience.
• Working knowledge of GDT (geometrical dimensional tolerancing).
• CMM & Laser Scanning.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Broad experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• General work background in manufacturing / engineering.
• Basic grounding in H&S policies and procedures.
• Basic PC (Microsoft Office) and SAP skills.
