Industrial Mechanic

GEMCO is an industry leader in design and manufacturing of industrial tumble blenders and dryers. We are looking for a seasoned mechanic well‑versed in industrial equipment.

Mechanics are required to perform a range of duties and responsibilities that can differ from day to day depending on the jobs they are assigned. This can include anything from routine maintenance work to specialized repairs. Other duties include:

• 15 years industrial mechanic experience
• Complete job within allotted time frames
• Assemble motors, gears, reducers, encoders, brackets, rotary unions, airlines, lift trays, valves, piping
• Able to bend pipe and small tubing
• Welding MIG and TIG and Stick
• Read drawings including P&, pneumatic circuits, and electrical diagrams
• Place equipment with a forklift and crane
• Level and align using the proper tools and equipment
• Assess machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues
• Liaise with clients and shop personnel to ensure job is done satisfactorily
• Adhere to company work and safety policies

Of integrated process equipment to include but not limited to chillers, dryers, pumps, HVAC, heating packages, etc.

Minor electrical work as may be required for the replacement of sensors, motors, solenoids contractors, VFDs, PLCs, etc. PLC troubleshooting.

Repair and installation of process piping, water and air supplies, drainage, etc.

As may be required for projects.
