About the RoleMobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the brand to life. They live and breathe the brand and Arch Telecoms Core Values. MAs are brand ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast‑paced, fun environment where customer needs are their first focus. They build meaningful connections with customers by uncovering needs and providing education, demonstration, and recommendation of device and service solutions.
This is a learning role; trainees develop skills and knowledge in preparation for promotion to Mobile Expert upon training completion.
- Help customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in‑store.
- Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in‑store.
- Side‑by‑side sell to find personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan, including accessories and up‑to‑date IoT devices.
- Guide customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and shared expertise.
Approach service and sales needs with patience, honesty, and empathy.
Become proficient in the use of digital tools designed to enhance interactions and onboarding, including:
- Explaining coverage in customers’ neighborhoods and its benefits on a lightning‑fast LTE network.
- Illustrating how plans and services let customers live unlimited, feel the love, stay connected and go further.
- Redefining wireless as a whole, from device and account inspection, review, and troubleshooting.
Complete training on in‑store experience, new skills and processes, systems knowledge, and reference resources.
Build relationships with and partner across channels, including business and customer service, to:
- Collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues, creating a seamless environment.
- Identify and handoff small business leads.
- Develop strong peer relationships and remain accountable for company success.
- Provide a first‑class customer experience while having a good time.
- Strong desire to learn and master the skills of an effective customer advocate and build meaningful connections.
- Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, sharing best practices while serving customers and resolving issues.
- Ability to balance customer experience with performance goals.
- At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail environment preferred.

- Be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation.
- Full‑time (40 hours) or part‑time (20+ hours) availability.
