Job Title:

Security Guard (Veteran Preferred)

Pay Rate: $17–$20 with regular SORA (unarmed); $25–$30 with armed license.

Schedule:

Full-time and part-time available.

Iron Rock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Security Guard in Lakewood. Willing to train military veterans through our SORA training partners with future interest in hiring as an armed guard. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control. The Guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.

• Manage and monitor access control points.
• Conduct regular patrols of the retail property.
• Perform occasional mobile patrols as needed.
• Write clear incident and daily activity reports.
• Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs.
• Maintain a professional and customer-friendly presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately.

• Military or security experience required.
• Access control experience required.
• Valid driver's license required for periodic mobile patrols.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Weekly pay.
• Medical insurance available to full-time employees working 30+ hours;
  Iron Rock pays 50% of the employee-only medical premium. Benefits begin the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
