Reefer Diesel Mechanic​/Technician

As a Reefer Diesel Mechanic/Technician: up to $40/hour based on experience and skills. Day Shift 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday thru Friday! Weekends OFF!

We’re initiating a new phase of operations and we’re hiring across all shifts.

• This position requires experience in Thermo King or Carrier refrigeration units.
• Perform all levels of maintenance services, with a primary focus on refrigeration units such as Thermo King commercial refrigeration equipment for trucks and trailers.
• Test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic test equipment.
• Read complex schematics associated with refrigeration equipment.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document orders.
• Provide additional support regarding preventative maintenance and tractor‑trailer maintenance as required.
• Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
• Perform system repairs to include engines, transmission, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive‑train, steering and suspension, electrical and A/C.
• Starting pay $40++ depending on experience and skill set.
• Class A or B License Preferred.

• CDL A license (required).
• Reefer experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills.
• Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics.
• Own set of tools.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• A clean PSP/MVR.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office and TMT.
• Able to pass pre‑employment drug screen.
