Family Medicine Physician - Middleton, Idaho

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is an 800+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a physician committed to a multidisciplinary team approach to care and interested in growing a practice as part of a dedicated family medicine program within a multispecialty medical group framework. The physician will practice in a co-located family medicine and urgent care setting serving the rapidly expanding Middleton community.

Upon opening, urgent care services will be available seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The clinic can accommodate multiple providers and features a procedure room, laboratory, and on-site x-ray services.

The ideal candidate will commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care while demonstrating and modeling our organizations core values of reverence, a commitment to those experiencing poverty, justice, stewardship, and integrity.

The provider will also ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated. The qualified candidate must be passionate about family health issues and demonstrate evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

SAMG utilizes EPIC Electronic Health Record (EMR) in its clinics. Thus, experience with EHR is desirable.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program;
• Board certified, or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment;
• Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases;
• Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA.

For full-time - 34 patient contact hrs., with option for 4- or 5-day work week.

Practice call shared with other eligible FM providers (Appx 1:18).
