Position: Meridian/Kuna area Caregivers Needed Full Time/Part time (Flexible hrs)

Overview

Home Helpers Home Care is a family‑oriented, locally owned agency in the Treasure Valley. We’re looking for caring, compassionate caregivers to provide companionship, personal care services, social interaction, meal preparation, shopping, errands, light housekeeping, and transportation.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive wages of $14–$17 per hour with room for growth. Bi‑weekly pay via direct deposit, mileage and travel time payments, a $500+ referral bonus, paid time off, IRA retirement plan, monthly bonus, and flexible schedules.

Job Responsibilities
  • Aiding with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, toileting, grooming, feeding, mobility)
  • Assisting with shopping, errands, and transportation
  • Picking up prescriptions and assisting with telehealth visits
  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Providing companionship, social interaction, and emotional support
  • Performing personal care tasks (bathing, toileting, hygiene)
  • Assisting with transfers and maintaining client safety
  • Communicating client changes to the direct supervisor promptly
  • Ensuring punctuality and following scheduled assignments
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check as defined by IDAPA rules governed by Medicaid
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs; stand, bend, twist, and lift as needed
  • Experience reading a plan of care and accurately noting daily activities
  • Respect for client rights and maintenance of dignity and respect for all clients
  • Effective communication with supervisors and recognition of personal relationship boundaries
  • Protection of clients from abuse, neglect, and exploitation
  • Competence in bathing, toileting, hygiene, and complete personal care for another person
