Retail Sales Support Associate

Position Overview

This position is responsible for direct contact with customers, both phone and in person. The role assists customers with rental processing, supports sales associates with transaction processing, and handles sales and rentals at the register. All duties are performed while delivering Raving Fans customer service to internal and external customers.

• Handle incoming telephone calls as needed.
• Receive payments, deposits, gift certificates and obtain credit authorization.
• Help customers with small parts/accessory sales onsite when necessary.
• Process new car sales and reservations for rental cars.
• Assist sales associates by checking addition, monitoring deliveries of golf cars, and processing finance requests.
• Handle cash transactions, and process credit memo refunds, deposit slips, returns and check requests.
• Print invoices, thank you letters, window stickers and process daily cash sheets.
• Open and close register.
• Complete the daily cash sheet and submit all paperwork to the accounting department by 10:00 am.
• Report sales and deliveries.
• Maintain inventory and order office supplies.
• Perform other clerical duties as needed (filing, copying, collating).
• All other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED; or one (1) to three (3) months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must remain professional, responsive, and cooperative while consistently producing quality work and meeting deadlines.
