Position: Production Operator - 3rd Shift Job

Bostik Middleton – Production Operator – 3rd Shift

Salary Range: $27.00 – $31.00 (pending experience) and Shift Differential Pay.

Sign‑on Bonus: $2,500.

Health Benefits: Starting on day 1 of employment.

Shift

Hours:

Sunday – Thursday 11:15 PM – 7:30 AM. Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.

Job Dimensions
  • Safe operation of the manufacturing operation and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Day‑to‑day completion of assigned tasks.
Activities
  • Practice safe work habits per OSHA, EPA guidelines, and Bostik specific EHS expectations.
  • Follow written instructions and SOPs to manufacture quality products.
  • Assist in updating documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with fellow operators to ensure a quality product.
  • Perform preventive maintenance functions as required.
  • Assist in other manufacturing areas when available.
  • Conduct in‑process laboratory testing to satisfy intermediate and finished product requirements.
  • Accurate batch sheet administration and sample collection.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and transferring hazardous material.
  • Operate all equipment within your respective department.
  • Conduct cycle counts as required.
  • Operate forklift and material handling equipment.
  • Fill out maintenance work orders when mechanical problems are foreseen.
  • Incident reporting and communication responsibilities.
Context and Environment
  • Fastpaced, high‑pressure environment involving a wide variety of functions and activities.
  • Participate in activities within the plant, your department, and cross‑functional areas.
  • Use of computer software, both PC based and enterprise system, combined with frequent interpersonal communication.
Accountabilities
  • Production activities to meet plant and business objectives.
Qualifications / Experience Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and participate in operator‑driven in‑plant lab testing, preventive maintenance activities, shop floor problem solving, and 5S organization (training provided).
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team‑based environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude toward collaboration.
  • Open to change and able to adapt to new processes and work practices.
  • Basic problem‑solving skills with the ability to follow standard procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
