Overview
MK Services in Middleton, MA is looking for a CNC Swiss Machinists for our 1st and 2nd shift operations
.
We offer a flexible schedule for our 2nd Shift with 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM, including a paid 30-minute paid lunch. Who wouldn't want a 3-day weekend & Weekly Pay!
Job shop experience is desired.
Must operate Star Swiss
, read prints & use hand-held measuring devices. Must be able to change tools, make offsets, inspect parts, complete required paperwork, work in a team environment, and work without direct supervision to complete required duties. The ability to set up is preferred.

- Set up machines (Install tooling, touch off tools, install guide bushings/collets, etc.)
- Control and adjust machine settings (guide bushing, collet tension, etc.)
- Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
- Check the output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
- Maintain activity logs.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Proven experience as a Swiss Machine operator (Star Swiss).
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Understanding and interpreting GD&T.
- Understanding of production procedures.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear).
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Analytical skills.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.
