Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant Role:

• Take ownership of benefit‑related liabilities on the corporate books, partnering with operations and internal teams to resolve issues
• Perform frequent benefit reconciliations (daily, weekly, and monthly) and investigate discrepancies
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and reimbursement teams to ensure accurate data flows and reporting
• Support and execute month‑end close activities, including capitalization and expense review
• Provide initial review and analysis of expense activity to ensure accuracy and proper classification
• Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives, particularly related to accounting and operational workflows
• Take ownership of budget updates and related project‑based analysis work
• Contribute to ongoing system enhancements through involvement in software upgrades and process design

Requirements for the Senior Accountant Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of accounting experience with exposure to month‑end close and reconciliations
• CPA preferred or willingness to pursue CPA certification
