Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to cover a maternity leave from December 4 to March 4 in Sun Prairie, WI. This full-time contract position focuses on providing individualized support to elementary-aged students with special education needs. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM, with placement at one school.

• Deliver tailored special education instruction to elementary students, accommodating diverse learning goals and abilities
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure integrated learning experiences
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and adapt strategies as needed to support developmental objectives
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning and implementation

• Valid Wisconsin Special Education (SPED) teaching license
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including paras, Registered Behavior Technicians, CNAs, or LPNs assigned for supervision
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and collaborate with families and staff
