Overview
Electrical Design Engineer Role:
The Electrical Design Engineer will join a global team to develop advanced electrical and power electronics systems for medical diagnostic imaging, particularly Premium CT Hardware. The role involves both designing new systems and improving existing ones using tools like Matlab and ECAD.
- Design electrical/power electronics for new and existing CT hardware.
- Lead and ensure the quality of designs and projects (including feasibility, cost-benefit analysis, and execution).
- Create prototypes, conduct performance testing, and document designs.
- Capture schematics and approve ECAD layouts.
- Develop innovative designs to meet performance, cost, and manufacturability goals.
- BS in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in circuit design and electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in schematic practices, electronics modeling, and analysis.
- Experience with integrated circuits, control systems, simulation, and testing.
- Mid-Senior level
