Environmental Health Safety Specialist

We are seeking for an experienced EHS professional to lead compliance, culture, and continuous improvement in a hands‑on, high‑impact role. This is ideal for candidates with experience in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field; or hold a CSP or CIH certification.

• Maintain and update all programs and documentation under the company’s safety & health program, including OSHA‑mandated elements
• Ensure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are accurate, up‑to‑date, and accessible to employees in a language they understand
• Lead and document workplace safety inspections, hazard assessments, and job safety analyses
• Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses and identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor safety training compliance and coordinate with Training & Development to ensure regulatory requirements are met
• Maintain and post OSHA logs (300, 300A) as required
• Serve as the primary contact during OSHA inspections or audits; lead internal audit readiness efforts

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field; or hold a CSP or CIH certification
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, food production, or related industrial environment
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to train and influence at all levels
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and follow up on corrective/preventive actions
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety management systems
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• OSHA 30‑Hour General Industry Certification a plus
