As a Claims Processing Manager at Freez Pak Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in managing the freight claims process, ensuring effective communication, and driving resolutions. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire claims/ OS&D lifecycle, from initiation to settlement, with a strong emphasis on customer service and stakeholder relationship management.
What You’ll Do- Lead and supervise the daily operations of claims processing to ensure accurate and timely handling of all claims.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance claims workflow efficiency and reduce processing errors.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics, customer service, and finance to resolve complex claims and disputes.
- Monitor claims data and generate reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational enhancements.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in claims and insurance processing of cargo issues.
- Experience handling total loss cargo damage claims.
- Experience conducting negotiations of claims with represented and non‑represented claimants.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Certifications: Certification in claims management or logistics (e.g., Certified Claims Professional, Certified Supply Chain Professional) a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cargo insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Advanced data analysis skills using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Open to thinking/working with an outside‑the‑box approach.
Must live in or be willing/able to relocate to the Woodbridge, NJ or St. Paul, MN area to work onsite.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually
The range listed is the Company’s good‑faith estimate of the annual base salary for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, location, internal equity, and market factors, consistent with applicable pay transparency laws.
