Global School wear is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic material handler to join our team in Oak Creek, WI. Our brand new facility is state-of-the-art and equipped with the latest technology. We're gearing up for our busy season and need someone who can keep up with the pace and help us ensure safety, accuracy, and on-time customer shipments while having fun.
As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You'll be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders, as well as receiving deliveries and performing various warehouse duties as directed. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:Receive deliveries into our warehouse with great attention to detail, ensuring correct product, accurate quantities and proper locations throughout the process using handheld devices to update the Warehouse Management System.Use light material handling equipment safely to stock, retrieve, lift, move and position products throughout the warehouse.Pick product orders as directed by the warehouse management software to ensure correct merchandise and accurate quantities picked for each customer order. Meet hourly productivity requirements and maintain timely order turnaround.Cross-train in all aspects of warehouse operations to balance our shifting business needs.Consolidate, arrange, and pack product orders for effective shipping with strong attention to detail to ensure order is correct and ready to ship.Perform miscellaneous duties in the warehouse as directed, including unloading, receiving, cycle counts, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.Able to stand or walk for a long period of time.Cleanup and dispose of boxes, packing material, pallets as well as general housekeeping of facility.Must be able to work overtime on short notice if needed, including evenings and weekends.Be a strong team player and enjoy a collaborative environment.Possess a strong commitment to overall warehouse and team member safety and security.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a pick, pack, shipping or receiving role.Willing to learn many other areas of the warehouse.Excellent communication and people skills.Flexible and adaptable to ever-changing business needs.Physical Demands:Walk and stand for long periods of time.Use hands/arms to reach for and handle merchandise and materials.Regularly lift, push and/or pull up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift, push and/or pull up to 25 pounds; and infrequently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds.Join our team today and be a part of something exciting!
