Controller, Accounting, Financial Controller

A growing company has contacted us to identify a Controller to add to their team. The company was recently bought by a large global company and needs a competent leader to make sure the accounting team is up and running.

Responsibilities of the Controller

• Supervise a staff of 5 (AP, AR, Admin, and 2 Staff Accountants)
• The Controller will own the month end close
• Work with an outside CPA to file tax returns and assist in annual audit
• Revenue recognition
• Budgeting and forecasting
• The Controller is responsible for monthly cash flow projections

Preferred Qualifications of the Controller

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or relevant experience
• Supervisory experience
• Advanced Excel strongly preferred!
