3rd Shift Client Service Representative

We are seeking kind, compassionate, and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Client Service Representatives to join our outstanding team of veterinary professionals at our Specialty, Emergency, and Primary Care Hospital in Middletown, Connecticut.

As a Client Service Representative, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our clients and patients by providing excellent customer service, supporting hospital operations, and helping connect pets with the care they need.

About You:

We strongly believe that veterinary medicine is a team sport, and our ideal candidate is someone who feels the same. Communication is key in our industry, and we are looking for people who navigate both client and interpersonal communication with skill and ease.

We are seeking a Client Service Representatives who will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to remain calm during emotional and stressful situations, as well as the ability to handle patients on a leash or in a carrier. Experience with Ezy Vet and Smartflow are an additional plus but not required. We highly value collaboration from all staff members, so please speak up as your input is not only valued but can make a difference.

    Our VECCS Level 1 Certified Hospital includes specialists in Emergency & Critical Care, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Oncology, Surgery and Exotics and a full staff of experienced Emergency and Primary Care Veterinarians. With the support of their technicians, assistants, and liaisons the hospital teams work closely together to deliver the highest quality of care.

Schedule:

4 Days a Week, 10 hour Days - 3 day weekends!

Wednesday through Saturday 10:00pm-8:00am. Holidays are required.

Compensation: $18.75 - $24.75 an hour - based on experience, plus shift differential.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary setting, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology or a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, and staff.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a warm, friendly, and empathetic approach to clients and their pets.
