Join our dynamic dental team as a Certified Dental Assistant, where your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional patient care. As a vital member of ourteam, you will assist with a wide range of dental procedures, ensure smooth clinical operations, and uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Duties
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
  • Assist dentist during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry, ensuring all tools and materials are ready for use.
  • Take digital dental radiographs(X-ray) accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety standards.
  • Manage patient records using

    Softdent dental software ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with HIPAA.
  • Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patientcomfort.
  • Monitor vital signs and assist with documentation when necessary for patients with special needs ormedical conditions.
  • Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and dental coding to accurately document procedure sand communicate effectively within the team.
Qualifications
  • Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration as required by state law.
  • Proven experience in dental assisting within a busy dental office environment, including pediatric dentistry.
  • Proficiency with Softdent,familiarity with dental records management is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding standards.
  • Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely following radiation safety guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skillsto interact effectively with patients of all ages and team members across specialties like endodontics or prosthodontics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detailand patient comfort.
