Position: Special Education Teacher Contract *Up to 55/hr

Special Education Teacher Contract in Middletown, Connecticut for 36 weeks, paid up to $55 per hour based on experience. You will develop individualized education plans and support students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and staff to support student success

Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs

Monitor and document student progress and report outcomes to stakeholders

Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth

Qualifications:

CT Special Education Teacher license
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in special education
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Background check clearance
Ability to work in a school setting
