The Economics department seeks to hire a Research Assistant (RA) to assist Professor Tyler Porter with their research project. Research Assistants work closely with faculty members to contribute to analysis. The position offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and hands-on experience in academic research.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Collect and analyze data
- Document and report findings
- Support administrative functions, such as copying and printing course materials.
- Operate relevant software and tools necessary for data analysis, documentation, and research-related tasks.
Skills & Qualifications
- Students who are eligible for work-study will be given preference.
- Economics Majors are encouraged to apply!
- Ideal student will be detail-oriented and should have a firm background in math and game theory.
- Ideal candidates will have successfully completed ECON 110 with a B- or better
- Fall 2026
- Research Assistants work an average of 10 hours per week from October 9, 2026, to December 19, 2026.
- The position requires in-person attendance.
