Wright‑Pierce, an award‑winning, multi‑discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Process/Mechanical CAD/BIM Revit Technician to join our company that will work with project managers and engineers to produce process, mechanical/HVAC, and plumbing CAD/BIM Revit models, families, and contract drawings for various water and wastewater facilities projects.
Responsibilities- Prepare 2D/3D drawings, layouts, sections, and process mechanical models.
- Perform process piping, mechanical equipment, and site piping layout work.
- Create process flow schematics and develop coordinated design documents.
- Execute redlines and support multi‑discipline drawing development (Process, Mechanical/HVAC, Plumbing).
- Coordinate design work with other engineering and building disciplines.
- Produce accurate, constructible drawings that meet company and client CAD standards.
- Communicate effectively and maintain strong organization, attention to detail, and time management.
- Manage and prioritize assigned tasks within project budgets and schedules.
- Apply sound judgment and proactively seek knowledge to complete assignments.
- Continually expand technical skills through on‑the‑job learning, mentoring, observation, and self‑education.
- Build positive working relationships and collaborate with team members.
- Perform site visits and support construction‑related tasks (shop drawing review, updating technical specifications as needed).
- Provide guidance to other staff and occasional in‑house technical training.
- Demonstrate commitment to learning, professional growth, and Wright‑Pierce values.
- 3‑6 years of experience in Revit preferably related to water or wastewater projects.
- 10+ years’ progressively responsible experience is considered a plus and will be considered for a senior level position.
- Basic understanding of piping systems, valves, fittings, and municipal infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD / Civil 3D is considered a plus.
- Minor lifting and physical activity as part of occasional field work.
- Able to perform field site visits with occasional overnight stays.
- OSHA
10 and Confined Space Training considered a plus. - Able to successfully complete Wright‑Pierce safety training.
- Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
