Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage site-based NPI programs from initial concept through production launch.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and resource plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication and project updates.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and commercial groups.
  • Ensure achievement of project milestones, customer deliverables, and production readiness goals.
  • Support proposal development, manufacturability discussions, and customer-facing technical reviews.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and operational challenges.
  • Report program performance and status updates to executive leadership.
  • Support engineering activities and contribute hands-on technical assistance when required.
  • Research and coordinate external services, tooling, or process solutions as needed.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management or technical engineering roles within medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of NPI processes, manufacturing operations, and project execution.
  • Experience with precision stamping, coining, CNC machining, tooling, and inspection processes preferred.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GD&T requirements.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic project oversight with hands-on execution support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project coordination tools.
